The HP Scanjet 4500c, designed to deliver professional quality scanning and copying at the touch of a button, provides full 2400 dpi / 48-bit performance for crisp sharp scans, whether you're working with documents, graphics or photos. Its innovative styling and landscape format not only feels right, but the fact that the lid opens along the "long side" also means it can be placed at the back of your desk - even under shelves - saving space while remaining accessible. Conveniently located on the front edge control panel are five one-touch buttons, each providing instant access to feature-rich tools: scan, e-mail, scan-to-web, save-document-to-disc and "copy centre". This final control is optimised for document copying (but can be switched to photo-mode). For maximum flexibility, optional extras include an automatic document feeder and an add-on transparency adapter for scanning 35 mm slides and negatives.
