Product name:
Product name is a brand's identification of a product, often a model name, but not totally unique as it can include some product variants. Product name is a key part of the Icecat product title on a product data-sheet.
BX80532PG3200D
Product code:
The brand's unique identifier for a product. Multiple product codes can be mapped to one mother product data-sheet if the specifications are identical. We map away wrong codes or sometimes logistic variants.
BX80532PG3200D
GTIN (EAN/UPC):
Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN) includes European Article Number (EAN), Universal Product Code (UPC) and Japan Article Number (JAN). They are better known as the barcode on a product's packaging to uniquely identify a product in a shop or logistic process. One product data-sheet can have multiple barcodes depending on logistical or product variants based on packaging, country, sizes, colors, etc.

The Central Processing Unit (CPU) or (micro) processor is the part of a computer where most calculations take place. In terms of computing power, the processor is the most important element of a computer system, so the performance of a computer is highly dependant on the performance of the processor. For quite some time the performance of a processor has been determined by the number of MHz the clock speed was, but nowadays clock speed doesn't have so much to do with the speed of the processor anymore. One of the best ways to compare different kinds of processors, is to look up benchmarks on the internet. Please be careful to buy a processor that is compatible with your motherboard, i.e. fits in the right socket.

Icecat Product ID:
The Icecat Product ID is the unique Icecat number identifying a product in Icecat. This number is used to retrieve or push data regarding a product's datasheet. Click the number to copy the link.
Data-sheet quality: created/standardized by Icecat
The quality of the product data-sheet can be on several levels:
only logistic data imported: we have only basic data imported from a supplier, a data-sheet is not yet created by an editor.
created by Intel: a data-sheet is imported from an official source from a manufacturer. But the data-sheet is not yet standardized by an Icecat editor.
created/standardized by Icecat: the data-sheet is created or standardized by an Icecat editor.

The high-end / enthusiast sectors are after only one thing........ speed, and lots of it. That's something the latest 'C' line of Pentium 4 processors have in abundance. Just think about it, the all-new 3.2GHz Pentium 4 runs at an astonishing, nominal speed of 3 billion...
Good Arguably the fastest x86 around, Excellent default performance on either a Springdale or Canterwood motherboard, Should pave the way for price cuts on lower P4 Cs...
Bad Will undoubtedly be pricey, Will soon be replaced by the more potent Prescott core, Didn't overclock as well as we'd hoped...
Bottom line Testing and reviewing this processor was something of an anti-climax. We knew it was going to be faster than anything we'd had before. It duly obliged us with the fastest set of stock benchmarks we've seen thus far. There's little need for us to discuss its performance...

Now that the clock speed war is over, AMD and Intel have been slowly improving the underlying architecture of their flagship processors. After all, a 200MHz clock speed improvement does little if there are other bottlenecks that are preventing the CPU...
